Travelmore Booking Term and conditions 

 

How to Book with Travelmore 

Book directly through your local travel agent or OTA or send a Booking Enquiry from our website. We’ll respond within 12 hours to continue the booking process. 

Payment 

A NZ$150 deposit is required within 14 days of confirmation to hold the reservation with final payment due within 30 days of arrival for any small group tours or customized tours.  Bookings made within 30 days require full payment at time of confirmation. If payment is not received by the required date, we regret to advise services will be cancelled with loss of deposit. 

For any instant FIT bookings, payments must be received prior to the booking being confirmed. 

Amendments 

Once a booking has been confirmed, all amendments must be advised in writing as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate any requested amendments to your itinerary, but we cannot guarantee any requested amendments and we reserve the right to recover any additional costs and charges arising through changes of travel dates , accommodation upgrades or other components of your itinerary. 

One amendment is permitted without charge. Second and subsequent amendments will incur a fee of NZ$50 per amendment. Amendments made after documentation has been issued will incur a fee of NZ$100 to cover costs. 

Cancellation 

Cancellation within 14 days of arrival will incur loss of deposit. 

Cancellation within 7 days of arrival will incur a 100% charge of the total price 

Certain products, such as luxury accommodation, may have different payment or cancellation terms and these will be advised at time of booking.  

Cancellations Due to Covid-19 

All cancellations must be advised in writing as soon as possible. 

For all cancellations due to travel restrictions, self-isolation requirements or any other Government restrictions due to Covid-19, the customer will forfeit 10% of their total itinerary cost together with ant supplier charges that are unable to be recovered. Ats the time of booking we will advise the date by which we need to be notified for these cancellations. 

Refunds 

Refunds are not available on any unused services unless extenuating circumstances apply in which case the decision will be made by the service supplier.  Please appreciate weather interruptions are beyond everyone’s control but we will do whatever possible to find the most suitable solution. 

Taxes 

15% GST (New Zealand Goods and Services tax) is included (subject to change when required) . 

Accommodation 

Accommodation is based on a room with private facilities unless otherwise indicated and Travelmore reserves the right to allocate the applicable accommodation provider within each accommodation category type. 

Children 

Generally up to two children under 12 years, sharing a room in existing bedding with parents may travel at 50% of the adult cost. 

Meals 

Unless specifically mentioned, meals are not included in the tour price. 

Rental vehicle hire 

Self drive rental vehicle touring is calculated on a 24 hour ‘per day’ hire period.  Early flight arrival and/or late departure times may necessitate an additional hire day. 

Escorted Coach Touring 

Special payment and cancellation conditions apply and will be outlined at time of Enquiry. 

Not Included in Tour Cost 

International or domestic airfares are not included in any tour costs. The cost of gratuities, insurance, optional sightseeing, excess baggage charges, laundry, drinks, airport taxes, meals (except where indicated) and items of a personal nature are also not included. 

Travel Documents 

It is the responsibility of all travellers to ensure they have in their possession valid passports (with an expiry date beyond six months of their intended stay in New Zealand) and appropriate visas where applicable. All travel documents issued by Travelmore including vouchers, itineraries and other reference material, will be delivered to you upon your arrival into New Zealand or electric documents to your indicated email in advance. 

Insurance 

We strongly recommend that all travellers take out appropriate travel insurance cover. 

Responsibility 

Travelmores liability to the customer shall be limited to the value of the part of the booking in respect of which liability arose. If the customers join an ADS tour, Travelmore will abide by the ADS code set by New Zealand government tourism department and responsible for the duties and responsibility accordingly. Travelmore has purchased $5M public liability insurance  

The customer acknowledges that sometimes Travelmore is acting as an intermediary for bookings between the customer and a tourism service supplier (such as accommodation attractions, activities). In that case Travelmore is not liable to the customer for any failure, acts, delay or omission on the part of such service providers in providing the booking to the customer. 

Travelmore does not accept any legal liability or damage including death, injury, delay, loss of any nature, additional expenses or inconvenience howsoever caused to property or the passenger for himself and his executors, administers and dependents expressly renounces all claim against Travelmore in respect thereof, whether the same may be due to negligence, misconduct, act of omission, default or failure on the part of Travelmore or not.  

All suppliers such as attractions, accommodation, and transport are responsible for their own service quality and safety. We will check their Qualmark status regularly. Suppliers will take responsible or liable (for damages, refund or otherwise) for (but not limited to): mechanical breakdowns, government actions, weather, acts of God, strikes, disease, epidemic, compulsory quarantine or other services beyond its control; The failure of the client to obtain the correct and required documentation (eg, passports, visas, health certificates); The failure of the client to follow instructions, including but not limited to check in, check out and departure places and times; The delay of, loss of or damage to participants baggage or its contents regardless of whether check with any carrier, provider of accommodation or otherwise. 

Travelmore reserves the right to amend, make variations to or cancel tours, accommodation or other services and facilities advertised. All prices are subject to alteration at the absolute discretion of the Company.  

Tour fee Paid to Travel Agents 

Payments made to your travel agent does not constitute receipt of those monies by Travelmore. In which case, Travelmore is not responsible or liable for delivery of services unless Tour fee has been received by Travelmore. Confirmation of booking does not constitute receipt of monies by Travelmore. 

 

Law of contract 

These booking conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand and any action arising under them or in any way connected with the itinerary may be brought only in a court in New Zealand.
